At Qurely Clinic, We Crave to Cure! The functionality of online booking system (or the relevant App) is to be used by patients to book medical appointments and receive appointment reminders via email and/or text message and for Healthcare Providers to conduct virtual medical appointment with patients. The Application is intended for persons eighteen (18) years or older. Persons under the age of eighteen (18) should not access, use and/or browse the Application or the Services. For children, parents can make accounts for themselves and add their child as dependent later in the process. Our physicians: Dr. Rula Agarushi (MB BCh, FRCPC, MRCPCH) is a Consultant Pediatrician with international training and board certification in Canada and the UK. She completed a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at the University of Ottawa and currently practices in Edmonton and at Thompson General Hospital, and also serves as an Assistant Professor and teaches at the University of Manitoba. She welcomes pediatric referrals. Dr. Faria Ajamian (MD, FAAP, DABP) is a Consultant Pediatrician with fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic diseases. She is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Ajamian has over two decades of experience in pediatric care. She accepts new patients only with referral. Please ask your child's primary care physician to send us a referral before booking an appointment. Kindly note that as of September 1st 2021, online booking is closed for Dr. Ajamian. Please call our number if you need an appointment for your child. Dr. Lida Atarod (MD, LMCC) is a pediatrician with over two decades of experience in the care of pediatric patients, both in academic and community settings. Before moving to Edmonton, she helped pediatric patients in "North West Health Centre Specialty clinic" in the High Level city of Alberta. Her interest is in general pediatrics. She accepts new patients to her practice. Dr. Nilceia De Souza (MD, PhD), a consultant pediatrician with extensive knowledge in clinical research and pediatric care. She holds a PhD in Pediatrics, and concluded her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Division of Allergy & Immunology, University of California (USA). She has worked as Pediatrician for over two decades and has experience working in Alberta and Ontario. She accepts new patients with a referral. She has an interest in Respirology. Dr. Isoken Isah (MBBS, FRCPC) moved to Canada in 2016 after completing her medical training and specialization in Nigeria. She subsequently went through the process of getting her training accredited in Canada. Due to her passion for pediatrics, she applied for and was successful in securing an offer to get further training in Canada at the University of Alberta. Dr Isah, strives to provide a patient and family focused care for all those she has the opportunity and privilege to serve. Qurely welcomes the opportunity to have Dr Isoken Isah as a member of the pediatricians in our growing team of physicians. She accepts new patients to her practice only with a referral. Dr. Katie Janzen (MD, FRCPC), is a Royal College of Canada certified Consultant Pediatrician with an interest in Pediatric Mental Health and Development, although enjoys caring for children with all general pediatric concerns. She has completed the CANReach mini-fellowship program ("Patient Centered Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care") and is also a licensed Paramedic. She is currently accepting new patient referrals for all Pediatric concerns. Our Allied health Care Team: Emily Dao (RD), is a Registered Dietitian specializing in Obesity and Diabetes chronic disease management. She helps families to establish healthy eating patterns including skills for meal planning, picky eating, and fostering healthy relationships with food. She received her certification from the College of Dietitians of Alberta after graduating from the University of Alberta Integrated Dietetic Internship Program. In her free time, Emily enjoys joyful movement including running, rock climbing, and yoga.
